Good morning, peeps! Today's card is nice and simple because the New Horizons Designer Series Paper does most of the work. Take a look-see...
This is not my original design idea but I can't remember where I saw it or who created a similar design. If you know, please leave me a comment and TIA.
I put together kits for this card when I had the three ladies join me last week . So, I'm giving you the instructions I gave them,
Each kit contains the following:
· Soft
Succulent card base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored. Fold and burnish at 4 ¼”
· Basic
White mat and inner liner: 4” x 5 ¼” (2 pieces)
· Blackberry
Bliss mat for inner liner: 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”
· Blackberry
Bliss mats for DSP panels: 1 1/8” x 4 1/8” (3 pieces)
· New
Horizons DSP – Pick the scene you want and cut it to 3” wide x 4” high
Also in the kit are the On the Horizon Stamps on blocks, ink
and punch
Instructions:
1.
On the DSP, stamp the cattails in the lower left
corner with Evening Evergreen ink if your scene allows for it.
2.
Stamp the birds with black ink in the upper right
corner if your DSP allows for it.
3.
Cut DSP into 1” strips along the 3” side (3 pieces
and keep them in order for continuity of your scene).
4.
Adhere the DSP to the Blackberry Bliss mats.
5.
Stamp sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on one of the
Basic White mats near the bottom right, allowing the appropriate amount of
space for your DSP pieces.
6.
Run the mat through the embossing machine with the
Macrame 3D folder. Adhere to the card base with liquid glue.
7.
Do a dry fit of the DSP panels and when you’re
happy with what you see, adhere them to the embossed panel.
8.
Adhere the embossed panel to the card front. Card
front done!
9.
Creating the inside needs no instructions, just
copy it!
I'm entering my card at Can You Handle the Pressure? ATG w/Embossing Folder and at Little Red Wagon: Challenge #646 - Emboss Everything
Since I love things in threes, I love this design. I love it as well, when the DSP does all the work! TFS!
