Stampin' Up! What's Cookin' Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to another HITBH! If you came from Sue Prather's site, I'm glad you are continuing the hop. If you haven't then I hope you'll continue to hop using my links below. No matter what, I'm glad you're here. Today we have a color challenge and I have chosen to use Misty Moonlight, Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand, employing the What's Cookin' Bundle.

My card base is Misty Moonlight cardstock with a mat of Sahara Sand cardstock. To that I adhered a panel of Cherry Cobbler/Sahara Sand/Basic White striped Christmas Tidings Designer Series Paper. I cut another Sahara Sand mat and a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight and adhered it to the front of the card.

On scrap Sahara Sand, I stamped the rolling pin with Sahara Sand Ink and the measuring cups with Misty Moonlight. I cut them out with the Cookin' Dies. I cut the whisk out of Misty Moonlight cardstock with another die from the set.  Using my Crumb Cake Stampin' Write marker on the spatula handle and Misty Moonlight on the spatula I stamped the it on scrap white and cut it out with another die. The bowl is cut out from the matching DSP with yet another die. I love this bundle! I adhered some of the utensils with liquid glue and some with mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside, I used the What's Cookin' Stamp Set for the wooden spoon and the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set for the sentiments. The "happy birthday" is stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink.

Because I have never used the What's Cookin' Stamp Set or Cookin' Dies, I'm entering my card at NBUS Challenge #33 (Never Before Used Schtuff!). I'm also playing at Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper December 2021.

Clicking on the "next" button will take you to TOK (the other Karen!) or you can click on each name to hop along. However you do it, I hope you enjoy!

  3. Super duper cute! You'd think with all the cooking and baking I do, this set would have jumped into my cart the minute I saw it....but it didn't! I still think it's really a fun set and I love what you did with it!
