Stampin' Up! Poinsettia Petals Painted Christmas for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. This week we have a sketch challenge.

Here is what I created for it...

and here is the sketch...

I may have taken a little liberty with it due to instructions for the gift card holder by Dawn Griffith. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, but I think you can still see the sketch. Hope my teammates agree!

My card base is Thick Basic White with mats of Evening Evergreen. The Designer Series Paper is the Painted Christmas series. The sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on a scrap of Basic White. It, and its scalloped Evening Evergreen cardstock mat, is punched with the Double Oval Punch. The ribbon is the Evening Evergreen 3/8" Chevron Weave Ribbon.

Want to see the inside? Good...here it is...

The sentiments are from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set. This is the third gift card holder for the Paramedics and EMT's. I ran out of themed patterned paper for them. I searched for paper with ambulances but had no success.

I adhered the front sentiment to the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals. I'm pleased that I was able to make three different designs for the gift cards. I thought it would make it more personal for the three shifts that will be receiving them. My next task is to make three for the firefighters.

If you would like instructions on how I made this, just send me an email or let me know in a comment and I'll be delighted to get them off to you as long as I have an email address for you.
