Stampin' Up! In the Moment for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to another HITBH! If you came from Sue Prather's site, I'm glad you are continuing the hop. If you haven't then I hope you'll continue to hop using my links below. No matter what, I'm glad you're here. Today we have a sketch challenge
The sketch challenge was a piece of cake BUT the two challenges I am entering were not easy! One is an inspirational photo challenge and the other is a color challenge. More about those at the bottom of my post! But now my card...

My card base is Early Espresso cardstock (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"). I did not add a sentiment to stay true to the sketch challenge. There will be sentiments on the inside but I haven't decided on which ones yet.

I cut a panel of Peaceful Place Specialty DSP (3 3/4" x 5") and colored some of the scene with Light and Dark Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends and Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.

I stamped the image on Basic White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and fussy cut it before I colored with these colors: Early Espresso Watercolor Pencil for her hair; Cinnamon Cider for her hair band, pillow and coffee cup; Ivory Stampin' Blend for her skin; Light Basic Gray Stampin' Blend for the top fox and Light Cinnamon Cider for the bottom fox; Light and Dark Crumb Cake for her pants and one of the pillows; Cinnamon Cider and Crumb Cake for the window seat cushion and Light Crumb Cake for the window frame. I adhered her to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside, I used Early Espresso and Crumb Cake inks. The sentiments are from Blessings of Home, which will be available January 4, 2022.

Now here are the challenges that inspired me...
and the color challenge...
Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko or you can click on each name to hop along. However you do it, I hope you enjoy and thanks for hopping with us!
