I used the Campology Stamp Set and Wild Cats Stamp Set for the majority of my card. I was inspired by Gigi Melone.
and our theme...
My card base is Crumb Cake with a Basic Black mat. I took a piece of Very Vanilla and went to town with sponging! Once I was satisfied with the sky and ground, I stamped the tent from Campology on it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then stamped it on a sticky note and masked the tent. Next, I stamped the trees from Campology in Tuxedo and removed the mask. I colored the tent with my Light and Dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blends and my Light and Dark So Saffron Blends.
The "Happy Birthday" is from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and fussy cut it to have a more fluid shape than a rectangle die. My Godson is turning 13 and my husband and I were in the Adirondacks 13 years ago so I thought this was very appropriate...plus the fact Kelen is a Boy Scout and just got through camping for a week! Now he is RVing in TN with his parents. So, there've got to be fireflies, right? I used my White Stampin' Chalk Marker to create the "fireflies".
For the inside I chose to use the leopard from the Wild Cats Stamp Set and the leaves, etc., to create the jungle look. I hope these do not cross his path while camping/glamping! I'm sure I would have heard if a Florida Panther or cougar had made the scene. They did have deer visit them. The sentiment, of course, is from that stamp set. I am so glad I was gifted the bundle. It's a fun set!
