Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. This week we have a color challenge. If this is your first time here, welcome! If not, welcome back!! Either way, you're in for a treat!!! Here's my card...
and here is our challenge...
I was inspired by Ann Alexander for my design. My card base is Daffodil Delight with a mat of Basic White. I used the heart border die from the Floral Heart Dies on each edge. The "splatters" are from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set. I used Bermuda Bay ink for those.
I cut the heart with another die from the Floral Heart Dies out of Basic White cardstock and sponged it with Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride and Bermuda Bay. I did a dry fit and stamped the sentiment from Always in My Heart in Basic Gray ink. I also sponged where the opening is with Blushing Bride. I then attached the heart to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. Next I colored a baker's dozen of hearts and adhered them to the inside of the heart with liquid glue.
For the inside, I stamped the three flowers in the colors I chose for the challenge and likewise stamped the sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays. I punched one corner with the Detailed Trio punch and adhered the art piece with liquid glue.
