Stampin' Up! Forever Blossoms Mother's Day Card

Good morning, peeps. Yeppers, we have reached mid-week already. Time flies when you're making cards and here's one I made for you today! I thank Ann Schach for her inspiration.

My card base is Basic White with a mat of DSP from the True Love Series. Another pattern is adhered to that. Then I matted the same striped pattern on a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the card front.

I stamped the image on a piece of Basic White and die cut it. Then I colored it with these Stampin' Blends:
  • Light Shaded Spruce
  • Light Bermuda Bay
  • Dark Pool Party
  • Light Magenta Madness
  • Dark Rococo Rose
I chose these colors for the Make the Cards Challenge #13.

Make the Cards is partnering with Double Trouble's Challenge #82 - Flowers so I'm playing along with Thing 1, Thing 3 and Thing 2.

The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings (retiring 5/3/21) and is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. Measurements are listed below in inches.

Thank you for stopping by today.

  13. Such a pretty card Karen. Love how you have the monochrome look using the dsp and then a pretty pop of colour with the flower on top and of course the cute little bee trinket on it just finishes your card off perfectly. Thanks for taking part in the SUOchallenge hope to see you on the next one x Natalie Arnold
