Stampin' Up! Tasteful Touches Masculine Card

Good Sunday morning, peeps! Hope you are having a splendid weekend. The weather here in SWFL has been perfect. It's so nice to have the windows and doors open with no humidity. But enough about the weather when it's a feather I want to talk about!

Yes, my card today was made so I could play at Inkspirational.
Here is what I created for it...
My card base is Cinnamon Cider cardstock and layered with Just Jade and a piece of Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the feathers on Basic White with Just Jade, Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider inks. I fussy cut them with my paper snips but that is not my strong suit!

The sentiment is stamped in Cinnamon Cider and cut out with a die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies set. The gold foil rectangle is cut with the next largest die. I added a couple of 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots to complete the front.

My card is for a friend who has helped me tremendously with cutting palm fronds off a coconut tree that is about 50' tall right next to my screened in spa area. The branches and coconuts were falling but missing the screening. Had they landed on the cage, I would have lost part of my house. I wish I had taken a video of all that he did to make Chester and the house safe. The spa area is where Chester loves to sit and lay in the sun. Soon he (not Chester!) and a friend will be removing the tree as it is impossible to cut anything more without a bucket ladder truck. My friend IS the best and so is his wife!! They will only accept a home cooked meal for anything they do for me...AND I do love to cook!

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you have a beautiful day. I am making beef stroganoff and a spinach salad for friends who are coming in to help me with the stereo/TV system my son set up. It's hard to believe it's been two months since he passed. Learning to live life without him and my husband (going on 28 months) is not an easy road so I leave you with this thought...
