Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a color challenge. Here is what I created for it using the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set.
I chose Old Olive, Garden Green and Real Red for my colors.
My card base is Garden Green. I stamped one of the tree stamps from Perfectly Plaid in Garden Green ink all over the front of the card base. I adhered a mat of Real Red to the card base, then a mat of Designer Series Paper from the Poinsettia Place pack. On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped the tree again in Old Olive and adhered that.
I cut a piece of Real Red and attached the Old Olive ribbon from the All the Trimmings combo pack to the back of it with Tear & Tape. I adhered that to the Whisper White tree piece with Dimensionals.
From a snippet of Whisper White, I punched the tree with the Pine Tree Punch. The snippet will be seen on the card I post Friday! I stamped the Ho's in Real Read and edged the tree with my Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker. I adhered that with liquid glue to the Real Red square.
The inside is pretty simple...
Both the image and the sentiment are from Perfectly Plaid, stamped in Garden Green and Real Red. I finished the envelope flap with a piece of Poinsettia Place DSP.
I'm entering my card in three challenges:
Hazel and Pixie offer such wonderful prizes and I really want to win Pixie's prize for challenge #389! The card she made with it is so cute. Hope you'll have a chance to check the three challenges out after you finish hopping! Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.
