Stampin' Up! Forever Fern and Many Mates Congratulations

I participated in an online mystery card challenge with Sharon Armstrong the other day and this is how my card turned out.

My card base is Mossy Meadow. I stamped the leaves from Forever Fern in Mossy Meadow. I love the tone-on-tone effect.

I cut a mat of Old Olive. I had gone through my 3' high stack of Designer Series Paper the other day and pulled out some retired pieces that matched current colors. I have no idea what the little flowered series is...possibly the 2014-2016 In Color?

Then I stamped my Whisper White panel in Old Olive with a stamp from Forever Fern.

I used the Many Mates Stamp Set for the sentiment. I punched out the "Congrats" with the Label Me Fancy punch and the Old Olive mat with the Label Me Lovely Punch. Using Old Olive ink, I stamped the splatters with a stamp from Forever Fern. I do believe that's my favorite set this year.

The ribbon is Old Olive from the retired Botanical Prints Medley Kit.

I used a leaf from Forever Fern, sentiments from Many Mates and the Detailed Trio Punch to finish the inside.

The occasion for this card is for a friend who is in her late 80's. She and I worked together in our community office and she is still working part time. While she was doing that, she was also going for chemo treatments. She just received the results of her PET scan and she is cancer free! She is remarkable to say the least. Because of this celebratory occasion, I'm entering my card in Kath's challenge WWC288.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop.
