Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Anniversary Card

Good mid-week to you and I'm so glad you stopped by during your busy week. I have so much to do and I just can't seem to get motivated. Ever have one of those days? To get out of the doldrums, I CASE'd a card by Ann Schach. Ann is on the design team at The Paper Players and that is where I'm playing today. I hope she likes the very subtle changes I made in order to enter PP506 - A Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.  I went straight across the middle.

The ribbon is part of the Boho Indigo Project Medley and the gold twine is from the Forever Greenery Twin Combo Pack. The embossing folder is the Dainty Diamonds 3D and the gems are two small and one large from Gilded Gems.

I had a request to make a 50th wedding anniversary card in two days so Ann's design came to the rescue! Thank you, Ann!

My card base is Very Vanilla Thick card stock with a mat of Gold Brushed Metallic card stock; then a mat of Very Vanilla card stock and the diamond shaped gold piece from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. On top of that is a Metallic banner and a Very Vanilla embossed banner. The leaves and branches are stamped in Soft Suede, first and second generation, one branch is Metallic and all are cut out with the Forever Flourishing Dies.

I created another sideways banner, which is stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with Gold Emboss Powder. The sentiment is from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set. I added the ellipsis with a gold Sharpie.

Here's the inside...

The sentiments are from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set. Both are retired but keepers in my book! I added the four antique corners from the Antiqued Corners & Slides Elements and stamped one of the leaves from the Forever Fern Stamp Set.

I'm also entering my card in The Paper Girls Challenge #206 Emboss Like a Boss. Lots of embossing on this card!

If you have any questions or would like more info, just email me or leave a comment with your email address. I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our weekly Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop.
