Stampin' Up! Many Mates Last a Lifetime Fun Fold for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a sketch challenge. I can't wait to see what the other team members created. Hop along with us at the bottom of my post.

Here is my rendition for it...

and the instructions/materials used:

1. Cut a piece of Thick Whisper White card stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

2. Cut a piece of regular Whisper White card stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

3. Use the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the second piece of Whisper White and adhere it to the Thick Whisper White with liquid glue or other strong adhesive. This gives the back of the base a smooth finish rather than embossed.

4. Cut a strip of Misty Moonlight card stock 2 1/4" x 11", fold and score at 5 1/2".

5. Cut a 2" x 5 1/4" strip of Flowers for Every Season DSP. Adhere to front of flap.

6. Stamp the sentiment from Many Mates on a scrap of Whisper White using Misty Moonlight ink.

7. Punch it out with the Tailored Tag Punch and ink the edges with Misty Moonlight.

8. Make a bow with the twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. Adhere to the tag with a glue dot. Adhere the sentiment to the floral strip with Dimensionals.

9. Adhere the flap to the card front with strong adhesive.

Then you flip the center strip open, et voila...

10. Cut a strip of Whisper White 2" x 5 1/4".

11. Stamp the sentiment and image in Misty Moonlight from the Last a Lifetime stamp set (which is mostly for weddings but I think it still fits the occasion).

12. Cover your ink splotches with small Rhinestone Basic Jewels or omit if you didn't make a mess like I did! There's just enough room at the bottom to write a short note.

I'm playing at the Fusion Card Challenge today with the blue in the butterfly for inspiration...love that butterfly!

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thank you for joining the hop. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Eva Dobilas. Clicking on the names below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.
