Stampin' Up! Itty Bitty Greetings Ornate Garden for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a color challenge. I can't wait to see what the other team members created. Hop along with us at the bottom of my post.

I'm entering my card in Your Next Stamp #140 Sparkle and Glitter ChallengeAll that glitters is gold!

and women love gold and glitter, right? Hopefully Watercooler Wednesday: WWC274 - Dawn's Challenge: Anything Goes With a Feminine Twist likes it too! I'm also entering the floral theme at Global Design Project #GDP243.

My card base is Old Olive. I cut a piece of the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper 4" x 4" and a piece 1 1/2" x 4". I colored one flower on the square piece with a Crushed Curry Stamp N Write Marker, which is close to Bumblebee, as I do not have my new In Color inks, markers or Blends yet. The centers are colored with my Early Espresso Stamp N Write Marker.

I cut a border of Gold Foil with the Ornate Borders die set. The 1 1/2" DSP I colored with Light and Dark Old Olive Blends, Crushed Curry and Early Espresso Stamp N Write Markers. I adhered the pieces together with liquid glue, making sure it measured 5 1/4" for the width.

My sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings and is cut out with one of the smallest  Stitched So Sweetly dies. The gold foil mat is cut from the next die up in size. I adhered the sentiment to the gold mat with mini Dimensionals and adhered the mat with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the card base with liquid glue.

To add some bling I adhered three Metallic Gold pearls.

For the inside I cut a mat of Crushed Curry (a/k/a Bumblebee at the moment for me) and adhered it to the card base with liquid glue. I stamped a sentiment from Path of Petals in Early Espresso and adhered it with liquid glue.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thank you for joining the hop. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Eva Dobilas. Clicking on the names below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.
