Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a sketch challenge. I can't wait to see what the other team members created. Hop along with us at the bottom of my post.
Here's our sketch...
and here's my interpretation...
My card base is Basic Black. That I adhered a mat of Coastal Cabana. Then I embossed a piece of Bermuda Bay with the retiring Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. I am soooooo sad that it's retiring. If you really like it, you need to order it NOW!
I adhered a strip of Basic Black card stock to the top of that piece and used an Ornate Borders Die to cut out a strip of Coastal Cabana and adhered it to the black strip.
Then I used my Layering Oval Dies to cut out the sentiment and scalloped mat. I made sure the sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays fit on the smallest oval before I cut it. It's stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
I kept the inside clean and simple by stamping another sentiment from Itty Bitty in black ink.
I punched the four corners with the Detailed Trio Punch and adhered it with liquid glue.
