Stampin' Up! So Sentimental Easter Card

Happy Easter, peeps! and for my Jewish viewers, I hope you are still enjoying your Passover. My husband and I had the opportunity one time to participate in a Seder and it was so interesting. For Easter dinner we would usually have lamb. However, he is celebrating this Easter in heaven for the second year and my son hates lamb! So, we are having filet mignon, asparagus, mushrooms and Texas Toast! What are you having? Did you hunt for Easter Eggs?

My card today is one I sent to a friend locally. I didn't get my cards done in time to send out of this area...next year's another chance! So, for all of my friends, viewers and followers, this one's for you too!!

The cross is from the retired Easter Message Stamp Set (Occasions 2017 Catalog) and the sentiment and paisley images are from the retired Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set. I colored the image with my Light and Dark Crumb Cake Blends, Light Soft Suede Blend and Light and Dark Highland Heather Blends. The sentiment and paisley prints were in my stash.

For the inside, I used the big sentiment from the So Sentimental Stamp Set and the Easter sentiment from the retired Well-Scripted Stamp Set.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you are celebrating this special day. The "social distancing" era has perhaps changed the location where we celebrate but the reason is still the same...He is risen, hallelujah! Therefore, we are not without hope!! See you tomorrow for a makeover.

  1. What a beautiful reminder of this blessed day! Your dinner sounds yummy! I don't care for lamb either so your choices get my vote! We're having a little ham steak and some scalloped potatoes!! Happy Resurrection Day!

    1. Ham steaks and scalloped potatoes for us will be Wednesday! I plan meals out for a week or two so Gene doesn't have to go to the store as often. Thank you for your comment.
