Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Blooms Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome fellow stampers. Today we have a color challenge. Here is the challenge...
Image may contain: text

I used the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set (a $50 level Sale-A-Bration Reward) and the coordinating Small Bloom Punch (a $100 level Sale-A-Bration Reward) to create my card.

The inspiration for my design came from Fab Friday Challenge #181.

I'm also playing today at Inspired By...Clusters. My card just happened to fall into the colors and clusters.

I hope you have a chance to visit both challenge sites after you finish the hop!

I started with a Pool Party card base. I ran a piece of Whisper White card stock through my embossing machine using the Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Petal Pink card stock to create my banner and ran that through the machine with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

The flowers are a two-step stamp. I stamped the solid part with Pool Party for some and Petal Pink for others. I stamped the ridged image with the opposite color. Then I punched them out and adhered them with Mini Dimensionals. The card could be kicked up a notch by adding rhinestones or pearls for the flower centers.

For the sentiment, I used a stamp from Itty Bitty Greetings. I stamped it in Pool Party on Whisper White and punched it with the Classic Label Punch. I also used the punch to punch out different lengths of Pool Party and Petal Pink and adhered them with SNAIL.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thank you for joining the hop. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Eva Dobilas. Clicking on the names below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.

    1. Thank you so much, LeAnne. I did notice the sketch had 5 rows, but the flowers were too big to make another row! Hope Fab Friday will be forgiving!
