Stampin' Up! Another Calendar

We created two calendars at Meg's on Thursday. Edie taught us how to make this one. I didn't realize how wonky my cardstock and Perennial Essence DSP was until I saw this photograph. Oh well, too late now to do anything about it!

This is an easel calendar Post-It Note card.

It's really quite easy to make. The calendar came from Taylored Expressions and the Post-It Note pad came from the dollar store.

Materials, Measurements and Instructions:

  • 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Whisper White Cardstock
  • Score on 11" side at 2 3/4" x 5 1/2"
  • Fold scores inward to create mountain, burnish
  • Cut 1 piece of Whisper White  at 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Cut 2 pieces of Rococo Rose Cardstock  4" x 5 1/4" (we used a retired purple)
  • Cut 2 pieces of Perennial Essence DSP 3 3/4" x 5"
  • Cut Rococo mat 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
  • Adhere DSP to solid large Rococo mats for your panels
  • Adhere one panel to the inside of card
  • Adhere Post-It Note pad to that panel with Tear & Tape. This forms your stop for the top easel section.
  • Adhere the remaining panel to the piece of Whisper White cut at 4" x 5 1/4".
  • Lay the card down in the closed position with scored side up.
  • Put Tear and Tape only on the bottom scored part.
  • Adhere the Whisper White/Rococo/DSP panel to that. Now you've formed your easel.
  • Adhere the mini calendar with Tear and Tape to the small Rococo mat.
  • Adhere that to the card front with Tear and Tape.
  • Add a bow and pearl embellishments to the top part of the panel which is not glued to anything.

You're done! It should look like this from the side.

I'm entering my project in the Dragonfly Dreams: Anything Goes Challenge.

Thank you for stopping by today and if you haven't already, I hope you'll give it a try. I won't be posting until Tuesday's Blog Hop. I have been invited to stay in Orlando with my sister-in-law and I'm not taking any supplies with me. I was also able to book a day at my Disney time share! Woo hoo, I'm off to see the Mouse! Have a great Sunday, folks.
