Stampin' Up! Meant to Be Anniversary Card

Here's what part of my craft room looked like yesterday!

Lord Chesterfield (a/k/a Crafty Chester) has never done this in the 8 months we have had him. He is usually climbing all over me while I am sitting at the desk. However, I have not made any cards sitting there in the past three weeks so I think he thinks it's his space now!

I printed off four of my card front (not the sentiment) back in June 2018. A year later, I personalized three of them and mailed them. I can't find the 4th one and I can't find the file on my laptop...I need to make more! I do have the inside frame in Publisher so I'm on a mission to find the front, both in my craft room and on my laptop! If you have ever seen this image anywhere on the internet, please leave me a comment.

I do remember the sentiment is from the Meant to Be Stamp Set and it's stamped in Merry Merlot!

I colored the still life with various Stampin' Blends and wrote each recipients' last name and marriage date with a Journaling Pen. This is the only one I remembered to photograph before mailing! I sponged the art panel, so it wasn't stark white, and adhered it to a mat of Merry Merlot and then glued that to my Whisper White card base.

For the inside, I found some Clip Art and printed that out with the printed sentiment using Publisher.

I've decided to play at The Paper Girls Challenge #182 as I think my card uses their color scheme. This is a new challenge site for me and I hope you'll visit them. They have a scrapbook challenge every first and third Monday but I'm not into that...wish I had been years ago!

That's all for today, folks...and remember my mission; I hope you'll be able to help!

  2. Hi Karen! Congratulations - your card won Paper Girls Challenge 182. I love love how you developed this anniversary card idea. I wish I could tell you where the image came from, but it sure is cute. The inside you created in Publisher is fab and at least you have that saved. All in all, a great way to get back on the card making train! Go see your win: http://thepapergirlschallenge.blogspot.com/2019/09/challenge-183-falling-in-love.html and have a great day! xoxox
