Welcome to another makeover Monday, my followers. What? Not a follower? Well, then, I hope you will become one. I thank the people who have clicked on that "follow" button! Pixie is one of my followers and I'm playing on her snippets playground #359...yes, for a prize! If you haven't visited her site, she is a delight from across the pond!!
Today I'm going to show you two cards together. The first one I posted June 13, where you can find the instructions. The other is today's card.
Can you see the difference? The second one has the Frost White Shimmer Paint dispersed in a totally different way! Of course, you can see the difference in the sentiment! It's a snippet of Whisper White on which I have stamped the sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set. It is mounted on a snippet of Blueberry Bushel. The shapes are from the Layering Oval Dies. The lighthouse is from the Sail Away Stamp Set.
I had forgotten that I hadn't posted the second one. It came in handy for today! Tomorrow I meet with the neurosurgeon to discuss the results of the MRI I had Friday. I definitely have a compression fracture in T12 and the spine pain management doctor threw out the word "kyphoplasty". We'll see. I'm praying for wisdom for both of us.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your day is not a "Manic Monday"...that's an earworm for Mary :-) and anyone else who knows the Bangles.

Well - I'm a follower and I love your cards today!! One of my favorite suites!! Good luck with the MRI - I have faith that your surgeon and you will come up with the best path forward - getting rid of pain is a GOOD thing! And...uhm...grrr. Now I DO have Just another Manic Monday running thru my head! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary, and you know I love to do that to you!
DeletePretty card! Hope that you can get some pain relief soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amy.
DeleteSuper card and thank you so much for the really sweet shout out! I lived near a beautiful lighthouse 9sT Mary's) on the North East coast of England for many years - and we could walk across the causeway when the tide was out ............. but had to be sure to get back from the island before the tide turned. I miss it to this day.
ReplyDeleteBTW, it's little Dudley the Dog who is the blog delight - I just work my fingers off :)
Hugs
Di xx
Thanks, Di...you are too funny!
