Stampin' Up! Love & Sympathy - Sympathy Card

I have to check into the hospital as an out patient at 7 a.m. and imagine the kyphoplasty will be between 8 and 9 a.m. Therefore, I am posting early to show you one of the sympathy cards I made back in June or July but never posted and haven't sold yet! I'll show you the inside first as it uses a retired stamp from the Love & Sympathy Stamp Set.

I used Sweet Sugarplum card stock, which is also retired. I think I'll add the flower on the side. I don't know why I didn't in the first place.

I still am in love with this stamp set and the MaGuo Sea Theme Plastic Embossing Folder Template Starfish Conch Shell, which you can find on Amazon. There are less expensive ones but those arrive on a slow boat from China I think!

Once I embossed the mat of Whisper White Card Stock, I made it into a frame with a rectangle die I inherited from Carole. I adhered it with Dimensionals to a larger Basic Black frame that I had in my stash. Then I mounted it to the Sweet Sugarplum card base. I had an extra die-cut sentiment (borrowed from Barb) and I adhered that to the center with liquid glue. I had the butterfly in my stash as well so I'm not sure what stamp set it was from. It might be Butterfly Gala and punched with the Butterfly Duet punch.

Too bad I couldn't find a "what's in your stash" challenge!

Thank you for stopping by today and hopefully I'll be in good shape to bring you another card tomorrow!
