Ah, the weekend is almost here peeps and I'm sure there will be weddings galore. I used the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set, Stitched Be Mine Dies, and Botanical Bliss Stamp Set to create my wedding card today.
It is so difficult to capture the beauty of foil paper in a photo. I used the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Noble Peacock Foil on top of a Balmy Blue card stock for this card. I still had some retired Detailed Laser Cut DSP left from last year so I adhered that to the NPSDSP. You can order current laser cut paper and I've listed a link for your convenience below should you desire to see what the package looks like.
I stamped the sentiment from the Botanical Bliss Stamp Set in Night of Navy on a scrap of Whisper White on which I had also stamped the heart with flower sprig. I die cut it with the Stitched Be Mine Dies. I colored the flowers and leaves with a Mossy Meadow Stampin Write Marker and Light Petal Pink Blend. I glued the outside heart flat to the panel and raised the sentiment heart with Dimensionals.
For the inside, using Night of Navy ink, I stamped sentiments from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. I had a little strip of NPSDSP left so I adhered that to the side. There is a mat of Night of Navy card stock underneath the Whisper White panel.
The wedding has already taken place and I saw photos of the bride's dress and colors for the wedding party. I think this might be a match made in heaven!
Over at ModSquadChallenge, they have an All That Sparkles challenge so I am entering my card there.
Thank you for stopping by.
