Because the theme of this card is "Ladies/Girls", I am entering it into The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge. The layout resembles the sketch at Inspire.Create.Challenge 038
so I am playing there as well.
My card base is Highland Heather. The DSP mats are from the Botanical Butterfly collection, which is an SAB promotion (free with purchase of $50). I can't believe that paper is still available!. The promotion ends March 31 so if it appeals to you, it's best to order now!
The squares consist of Gorgeous Grape (bottom) cut with a scalloped die from Layering Squares Thinlits. The next squares are from the same set but are cut in Highland Heather and Whisper White.
The umbrella is stamped in Basic Gray and colored with my Highland Heather Blends. The "For You" is from the Beautiful Bouquet set.
For the inside...
Uh, huh...it's a gift card holder! The sentiments are from the Weather Together stamp set. The heart was a left over cut out from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.
This card was very easy to make because I followed the instructions by The Paper Pixie. So you know me, no reinventing the wheel. Check out the video link for measurements and how to's.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for the Happy Inkin' Krew Thursday Blog Hop. I will miss you if you don't show up!
