Stampin' Up! Petal Palette for

Welcome to our weekly blog hop. This week we have a sketch challenge...

Image may contain: plant and text

This was a real challenge for me. I had made one card for it back on March 5 but had to redo because one particular item was no longer available. One of the requirements of our Thursday challenges is to use all current product.

The difficult part on today's card was...well...let me show you...

Everything just seemed to be a little slightly off (me especially)...too many flowers, no wire thread (velvet ribbon instead), shape is not positioned right and it seems too busy to me. Oh, well, it is what it is. I hope the team members and my viewers will be forgiving!

My card base is Mossy Meadow card stock with a mat of Share What You Love DSP. The sentiment piece is from the Stitched Labels Framelits. The solid portion is Rich Razzleberry. I outlined the inside of the die with a pencil on Whisper White and fussy cut it. I used a sentiment from Petal Palette and stamped it in Mossy Meadow ink.

Then I stuck the burlap ribbon and velvet ribbon to the back of the sentiment panel with Dimensionals and adhered it to the card front.

For the inside, I used sentiments from the Wonderful Romance set and the Beautiful Bouquet set stamped in Mossy Meadow. I stamped the image from Wonderful Romance, third generation. It is a very juicy ink pad and I had it all over me and the mat so I had to sponge the ink all over the mat! I do like that it cut down on the brightness.

I'm happy to put this card to bed! Trust me, I needed a nap after this one!!

Thanks for stopping by. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Julie Johnston, with an undoubtedly wonderful card, or you can click on the blue links below to get to all the other beauties.
