February 2019...wow...why does January always go so fast? Our monthly Inkin' Krew team blog hop is always themed based. This month Amy has given us "Birthday" for our theme. We can interpret that any way we want and we can use any products we want.
For today's card I am using High Tide. This is a card we made at our card group and I just love the colors and design Sue gave us. It's so good for a masculine card I think.
The washi tape is a roll she purchased at Tuesday Morning. The silver "Happy Birthday" is a stick-on. The blue rhinestones she picked up somewhere! Everything else is Stampin' Up! Sue had everything pre-cut and punched for us.

My card base is Basic Black, the mat is Bermuda Bay. Before I adhered it to the card base, I did "hand stitching" around the edge and stamped the grass with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
The lighthouse from High Tide is a two-step stamp and for me it's difficult to get it perfect. If anyone has a tip for that, I'd appreciate you leaving it in a comment.
I stamped the sand first so that I would know where to place the base of the lighthouse. The hinges I think were punched with the retired Word Window punch and I just wrapped them around the Bermuda Bay mat. I love the bird stamp as it looks like some are close and some farther away. This is a great stamp set.
