Stampin' Up! Snowflakes and Swirls tor the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

It's that time once again! Yep, the Thursday hoppers are back and this time we have a sketch.

Image may contain: text

I used the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits dies to create my card for you today.

What? You're saying the sentiment looks like Calypso Coral rather than red? Well, you are quite right! AND if you look closely, you will see I added a thin Calypso Coral line with my Stampin' Write Marker on the DSP from Under the Mistletoe. Why did I do that? Because the colors at Color Throwdown #522 are...

yes...Calypso Coral, Real Red, Old Olive and Gray Granite!

Take a look see at the inside of my card...

Now, if you would like to make this card, you can check out the measurements and products used after the list of hoppers. We must give these talented ladies their due! Clicking on the "next" button will take you directly to the delightful Julie Johnston. Clicking on an individual name will take you to that person's blog. Have fun and thanks for stopping by.

  4. Aha! I was right. Your card is great! Love the plaid, and how clever of you to add the Calypso Coral to the plaid and use it for the sentiement to fulfill the needs of the challenge. I also like the way you used the plaid on the inside of the card. In retrospect, I wish I had used the swirly snowflakes swirl instead of the flourish. They look great on your card.

  5. I think the Calypso Coral compliments the plaid dsp very well. I would have never thought to put those colors together.
