Good morning, peeps. Hope you are planning on something fun for the weekend and that you are out of harm's way. A year ago, we were going through the aftermath of Irma with no electricity for 6 days and no generator. We still haven't purchased a generator and, hopefully, we won't need one because we now own new furniture that needs electricity. Perry loves his lift chair and he is so much more comfortable. Everything reclines so it took awhile to get it situated. I am still trying to re-invent my craft area as well.
Today we will still be doing some re-arranging and I have a card to show you that we made at card group Thursday. Carole provided a yummy taco salad and cake to celebrate Lynn's birthday. I hadn't been with the group since the beginning of July so it was quite a treat. She had 4 different card kits for everyone to make. The Edwardian door is a die by Spellbinders and the brick background is an embossing folder by Spellbinders as well. The door opens to reveal a die cut tree. I couldn't get it to stay open to take a picture. Here ya go...
Stampin' Up does have a door stamp and I think I'll be CASing this card with it...stay tuned! I'll be entering this one at Daring Cardmakers - Who's the [Em]boss?
Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow.
Love the brick embossing combined with the stylish red door and I can see the tree peeking through behind, too! Thanks for joining us at Daring Cardmakers this week!
