I used the Stampin’ Up! Dandelion Wishes stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here's the sketch for this week...
This was an easy card to make once I figured out how I would follow the design. I made lots of mistakes along the way with measurements and the design. It's not perfect, but it will have to do. I am hoping my card fits the criteria over at CASology Week 312: Heal
I used Night of Navy for my card base. I stamped the Whisper White panel in Night of Navy. The proportion wasn't quite right so I kept cutting the edges until I got as close as I could. But then I had to cover the seam so I got out my copper trim and wrapped it around the seam. It would have been easier and less time consuming if I had just recut and restamped! I cut two pieces of Tranquil Textures DSP and adhered them to the art panel.
For the inside, I used the same DSP and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy. I used a die from the Layering Squares to cut it out. I love this DSP!
