Stampin' Up! Dandelion Wishes for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Dandelion Wishes stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here's the sketch for this week...

This was an easy card to make once I figured out how I would follow the design. I made lots of mistakes along the way with measurements and the design. It's not perfect, but it will have to do. I am hoping my card fits the criteria over at CASology Week 312: Heal

I used Night of Navy for my card base. I stamped the Whisper White panel in Night of Navy. The proportion wasn't quite right so I kept cutting the edges until I got as close as I could. But then I had to cover the seam so I got out my copper trim and wrapped it around the seam. It would have been easier and less time consuming if I had just recut and restamped!  I cut two pieces of Tranquil Textures DSP  and adhered them to the art panel.

For the inside, I used the same DSP and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy. I used a die from the Layering Squares to cut it out. I love this DSP!

Now you need to see what the other creative team members have done. Clicking on the "Next" button will take you directly to the very talented Julie Johnston. Just in case you get lost along the way, below there is a list of the team members involved in the hop.

    1. Thanks, Julie. Sometimes all my brain can muster up is the cutting of 4 x 5 1/4!
