Carole had the leaves all cut for us as well as the mats. She taught us a new technique with gilding foil. There are many videos on You Tube for this so you can view them there. Basically, you put glue on the leaves, press the foil pieces onto the leaves, let it dry and then brush it off with a stippling brush. Easy peasy. I need a lot more practice for this technique...I should have taken a pic of hers as it was stunning.
