Stampin' Up! Stained Glass and Graceful Glass for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Yummilicious and bright colors, yes? Here's what I did with them for the blog hop and a challenge at Time Out 116 - Bright

My card base is Whisper White. I took a piece of Pool Party card stock and ran it through my Big Shot using the die from Stained Glass Thinlits, but not as a die. I used it as an embossing plate with the Big Shot embossing mats. That process really boggles my mind. There are videos out there on You Tube where you can see how it works but here's a link to the Stampin' Up! one.

I cut the lattice looking piece with another die from that set using Berry Burst cardstock. I wrapped a piece of Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon around the lattice piece and adhered it to the Pool Party embossed panel.

Then I cut a square of Whisper White using a die from the Layering Square Framelits big enough to be a mat behind my square piece of Graceful Glass vellum. I colored the vellum with my Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Pool Party Stampin' Write markers. Once it was dry, I adhered it to the Whisper White mat and adhered that to the card front with mini dimensionals.

The inside is plain because I will be writing a personal note. I used the Detailed Trio punch in the upper right corner to take away from the plainness.

Now that you've spent some time with me, I hope you will mosey on over to the other hoppers. I know it will be a fantastic treat for you.
