I fussy cut the flower from the retired Petal Passion DSP. I colored it with Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove and Call Me Clover Stampin' Write Markers. Then I blended the outside petals with Daffodil Delight and the leaves with Old Olive Blends. I adhered it to the Pineapple Punch mat with dimensionals.
I used the Vertical Greetings stamp set to stamp the sentiment with Versa Mark and heat embossed it in black.
For the inside, I used sentiments from the March 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit. Because those stamps are over a year old, I am playing at Retro Rubber Challenge 88
I also used This Little Piggy, Sitting Pretty and Loyal and True stamp sets, which are all current.
Thinking I had pulled out a mat that was 4" x 5 1/4" from my stash, I stamped everything. However, I went to adhere it to the base and found out differently! They say there is always a fix. Under the "Hooray" was also the word "Grad" so I had to make a wave out of the straight bottom. She'll never know. However, she IS graduating from the police academy so she might detect that I messed up her card!
Oh, the reason for the bull dog is not because she is from Georgia...it's because she has one and he has a brown spot on his hind quarters and brown spots on his ears!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my card.
Your flowers is so pretty! It turned out just perfectly. :)
