Stampin' Up! Rooted in Nature

Today I hope we all take time to remember the men and women who died serving in the military to retain our freedom. They are heroes and not forgotten. I will never forget our RV trips to the Civil War sites and other war memorials.  I am thankful for parades and marching bands too.

My card for you today is a masculine card. I am playing at The Paper Players - PP395 - A Sketch Challenge from LeAnne

I used the Rooted in Nature stamp set, which will be available June 1. As a matter of fact, all of the products I used will be in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.

My card base is Crumb Cake and my DSP is from the Wood Textures paper stack. It will be in the new catalog. I stamped the card base with one of the leaf stamps before I adhered the DSP. I used Crumb Cake ink full strength.

I stamped the piece of wood in Crumb Cake and fussy cut it. I took a piece of burlap ribbon and glued it down with glue dots. I cut the sentiment with a die from Petals & More Framelits. It is stamped in Early Espresso. This is a quick and easy card, peeps!

For the inside, I stamped the tree in Crumb Cake, stamping off once. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso.

I thought I'd add a little color with Mossy Meadow ink using an Aqua Painter. I rounded the corners of the Very Vanilla mat with the Detailed Trio Punch.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my card. I enjoy making masculine cards.
