Stampin' Up! Fortunate to Know You

Well, here's the stamp set that is retiring and I have inked it up for the first time...

This is a CASE of Tami White. Here is a link to her video that shows you how to make two cards with this set. The inside of the card has one fortune cookie with the fortune "Many Many Thanks to You". I had already written on the inside so I didn't take a picture but I'm sure you get the gist.

I made this for two women, at our regular cancer center. They both worked as a team to get my husband to the physician assistant at another location, pronto. When they saw his port, they knew it was an emergency. It was an hour drive to get from where we were but the staff at the other center took immediate action. His condition had worsened from when we had left the house. They began a heavy duty, 3 hour regimen of IV antibiotics and we go back again today for a second round. They are hoping to get it under control and save his port as there are no more options for a new port.

Life gets in the way of creating cards so I'm thankful Tami had this video, which made it easy and quick for me to make a card for two people who went the extra mile in their occupations.

Now I need to make a card for the Physician's Assistant. (She is much nicer than the doctor, but we won't tell him that cuz he's handsome!)

Have a great day peeps and thanks for visiting.

    1. Thank you so much, Amy. There are certain ones who are great and caring; others are collecting a paycheck :-(

  2. This is so cute....I kind of bypassed this set as we aren't fans of Chinese food, but it is very clever! Hope Perry is on the mend!

    1. Thanks, LeAnne. He has a long way to go, yet again. I wish they could figure out why his port keeps getting bad infections.
