Stampin' Up! So Very Much

My eyes have been blurry all day today so I have had a rough time seeing things clearly. However, I clearly think my card today fits three challenges...I hope!

Okay, artists would probably agree that there has been an ongoing debate for whether black and white are colors or absence of color or whatever! I am not an artist so I will not enter the debate...I'll only enter the challenges. If they throw out my entry, then I'll know what side of the fence they are on...lol!

My cardbase is Real Red for both cards. (I was able to make two cards at one time.)

The Whisper White mat was heat embossed with black embossing powder and Versamark ink.

The Basic Black mat was heat embossed with white embossing powder and Versamark ink.

The stamp set I used was from last year's Sale-A-Bration and it's called "So Very Much".

Ater heat embossing, I cut both mats in half and adhered them to the card base splitting the colors (or lack thereof)! I made my own dots and dashes at the edges and added a Red Glimmer Paper heart to the end of the sentiment.

The inside is stamped with a sentiment from Dragonfly Dreams and punched with the Corner Trio punch.

I hope you will visit the above challenges. Two of them are my firsts and I'm glad I found them through Paper Playful.

Thank you for visiting today.

  5. I'm no artist either, but it would be hard to make a card with just 1 color unless you didn't include black and/or white as colors! Beautiful!

  8. Very fun card done in black and white with just a touch of red! It is very dramatic! I agree...black and white (or vanilla) don't really count as colors in my book! Thanks for playing along with the "Fun with just one color" challenge on SUO Challenges this time!
