Stampin' Up! Stitched Stocking Christmas Card

Mike, Mike, Mike...it's hump day! I just thought I'd make a Christmas card so I could enter it in my team challenges for November :-) It could also be for one of my Italian friends...take a look see...

My Basic White card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". I cut the three strips at 4" x 1 3/4" and embossed them with a swirl embossing folder I had from the days I used Cuttlebug.

The sentiment from the current Stitched Stocking stamp set is stamped in Garden Green on a die from the retired Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

The holly embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Christmas Berries (currently unavailable but expected week of November 30).

The inside is very simple...

I stamped the snowflakes with Cloud Cover ink using a stamp from the Stitched Stocking Stamp Set. If I had it to do over again, I would have used a different snowflake stamp because some of the snowflakes were cut off. That's because it is a square stamp to fit the look of a quilted stocking pattern.  I tried to detract from that with Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes.

The sentiment is stamped with Garden Green ink and it's from the same stamp set aforementioned.

Thanks for stopping by today.
