Stampin' Up! Sounding Joy

Does this card front technique look familiar? Why, yes, it's yet another Stack and Cut Quilt card! Here's the link to the technique in case you missed it awhile back...Stack and Cut Quilt Cards by Betty. Her cards are really pretty and she has a great video of the technique.

My card base is Garden Green, accent mat is Whisper White, DSP is Quilted Christmas.

My sentiment is from The Sounding Joy stamp set, which is retired. The holly is from who knows where! It's stamped in Garden Green ink on a scrap of Whisper White, die cut with the largest oval from Stitched Shape Framelits. I sponged Real Red around the edge of the oval. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with dimensionals; then I adhered the card front to the base.

The inside is from Sounding Joy as well and it is stamped in gold and then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. There again is that little stamp from who knows where!

This card reminds me of the photo on the Fusion - Red Christmas Challenge

Stampin' Up! Quilted Christmas

I made my first tag ever!
This is the front. I do believe the wreath is the focal point so in it goes for the Wreath Focal Point Challenge at Mod Squad. Oh, how I would love the prize they are offering!

In addition, I would like to add it to Watercooler Wednesday Anything Goes WWC147.

If you haven't visited their sites, be sure to do that...you won't be disappointed!

And now for the back:
Most of the products used are shown below. The holly is a stamp from a previous Paper Pumpkin kit. However, there is one in the Merry Little Labels Stamp Set. The Cherry Cobbler pearls on the front are also from that same Paper Pumpkin kit. But, you could take regular pears and color it with the Cherry Cobbler marker.

If you are interested in measurements or further details, please leave me a comment and I will send you an email.

Thanks for looking!

Stampin' Up! Pizza Boxes

I am creating little gifts for each member of the card group I am in...so 8 pizza boxes came in handy for that.

Because I don't know how many of them look at my blog, I am just going to showcase one of the boxes here with no info on what's inside!

This was so easy and quick to make. All you need to do with the pizza box is fold it at the pre-scored lines.

I cut a mat of gold glimmer paper 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and adhered it to the top of the box. I then cut a piece of the Merry Music specialty designer series paper 3" x 3" and adhered that to the gold mat.

The gold foil snowflake is just cut in half and glued to the DSP.

Then I die cut the drummer boy, using the Musical Instruments Framelits dies, out of Basic Black cardstock.

The four DSP side panels each measure 3 1/4" x 3/4".

My inspiration came from three challenges:

The song Little Drummer Boy brings me joy each Christmas season.

I hope my project brought you joy, and thanks for looking!
