Stampin' Up! Large Letters and Painted Harvest

This past Wednesday I made a card for Regina using the Large Letters Framelits Dies and Painted Harvest Stamp. Prior to that, I had made the same card, different initials for our daughter's upcoming birthday. I didn't want her to see it so I didn't post it. Today she called to say she received it and how much she loved it. That makes my heart happy! Here it is...

Here's Regina's again...

You can see how the placement of the stamps and the intensity of the colors totally creates two different cards. I think this is my favorite stamp set of all the flower ones I have...notice I said "flowers", not "all" my stamp sets :-)

So the card I am posting for my daughter will be entered in the wonderful Just Us Girls #416 Color ChallengeIt's perfect for the card. I used Rich Razzleberry for my card base, Basic Black for the mat, Rich Razzleberry (purple), Wild Wasabi  (green) and Sahara Sand (neutral) for inks. Oh, yes, and Whisper White for the mat on which I stamped!

Today, just for fun, I'm going to count the stamp sets I own that I haven't used yet. It's my goal to use each one before the end of the year. Wish me luck!

Thanks for looking!!

  5. This is so sweet! I haven't gotten those big letters--a big investment for sure--but they certainly make for an impressive creation! Love the colors too!
