Stampin' Up! Hello Kitty and Bella and Friends

This is my second post today! No joke...we all know most cats and birds are NOT friends, right? Well, look at these two...

I made my own patterned paper using hearts from Loyal and TrueRibbon of Courage, and the retired Bear Hugs. The colors I used are Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist. I cut strips of Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist and embossed them with a Darice embossing folder. The squares were created from Layering Squares Framelits and I stamped the Whisper White squares with stamps from Bella and Friends and Pretty Kitty. The sentiment is from Eastern Beauty. I used Stampin' Up markers to color the words, except "forever" (part of the Eastern Beauty stamp), and stamped it on Whisper White. I used a scallop circle punch, cut it at the top and bottom to fit my card and edged it with Flirty Flamingo. I added enamel Melon Mambo hearts at the two upper corners.

So why did I choose these colors, this theme and this layout? Check these sites out...

I know I didn't fulfill the "clean" part of the sketch but I really liked the layout!

I had fun creating this and thanks for looking!

    1. Thank you, Amanda. We have a cat but would love a bird also. Our friends have two birds, two cats and they only eye each other once in awhile ;-)
