Stampin' Up! Oceanfront Watercolor Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came! We have a color challenge today and here is what I created for our hop.

Let's take a closer look at my card, shall we?

My card base is Basic White Thick Cardstock with a Lemon Lime Twist mat. I used Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper for the image. I put some drops of Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party ink refills on a stamping block and mixed them together to paint my little stream at the bottom with a Water Painter. I stamped the rocks and cattails from the Oceanfront Stamp Set in Crumb Cake ink. For the sky I used drops of Pool Party ink refill on a block and used my Water Painter to paint the sky.

The sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set is stamped on Basic White in Crumb Cake Ink and cut out with a die from the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies. I put a few Stampin' Dimensionals on the back, looped some Linen Thread on the Dimensionals and adhered it to the front.

The inside is quite simple...

I stamped the sentiments from Charming Sentiments in Crumb Cake on a piece of Bright & Beautiful DSP. I cut the corners with the Very Best Trio Punch.
