Stampin' Up! Feathered Fun Father's Day Card

Happy Father's Day is in order for my son-in-love. No, he's not my father but he is the father of JarJar. Jar is my grandson of the feathery kind. He is at least 26 years old and he is handsome but not pick-upable for me.

Using Kendra Morgan's April 2025 digital and a couple of Stampin' Up! stamps, I created this card for JarJar to give his "dad" who loves bourbon!

JarJar is mostly green with a little blue and red. I love the colors in Kendra's digi (although my phone and printer didn't pick up the brilliance). I cut it out with the second to largest die in the Textured Notes Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the retired Adventurous Sky Stamp Set in retired Orchid Oasis Ink. The card base is retired Cucumber Crush Card Stock.

For the inside...

I stamped the sentiments (Orchid Oasis Ink) and glass of bourbon using the retired Whiskey Business Stamp Set. The bird is from the Feathered Fun Stamp Set. I stamped him in retired Wild Wasabi Ink and colored him with Light & Dark Granny Apple Green Blends and a Light Daffodil Delight Blend. The bourbon is colored with a retired Wild Wheat Stamp N' Write Marker, the ice cubes are colored with Gold Wink of Stella and the glass was stamped with Smoky Slate Ink. I don't have good luck coloring with markers and should have watercolored it.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you are having a blessed Sunday.

Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2411

Welcome to another PIP Challenge. Here is what I created for it...

I just love the background digital from our awesome sponsor ...

This was the easiest digital card I have made so far. All I had to do was print out the digi, cut it to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and adhere it to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Pecan Pie Cardstock base.

Next I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up!'s He's All That Stamp Set in Pecan Pie on a scrap of Basic White and punched it out with the Modern Oval Punch. I also punched a scrap of Pecan Pie and cut it in half to make a border of sorts for the sentiment. I adhered it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. Card front done!

For the inside, I used the same stamp set/ink and adhered a 1/2" border.

Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure to head over to the PIP Challenge and share a card you have created. You may even win a prize! You don't have to use Polkadoodles but check them out to see all the amazing images they have to offer! You can certainly find something you'll love!!

Stampin' Up! He's All That Father's Day Card

I have a confession to make. I told you on August 22 that I was done with the cut, stack and shuffle cards. I lied! Well, I didn't actually lie...I just misinformed you...LOL! I found two more in my stack of cards that I hadn't posted. So, welcome to my Masculine Monday Makeover Madness! I promise...this is the end!!

I used the He's All That Stamp Set and the retired Handsomely Suited Stamp Set along with the He's the Man Designer Series Paper for my two cards today. They are makeovers of this one and this one. Take a look see..

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a pleasant start to the last week of August!

Stampin' Up! Club House Father's Day Card for the Happy Inkin' Krew Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a color challenge. I can't wait to see what the other team members created. Hop along with us at the bottom of my post.

Image may contain: text

For my card, I chose to use the Clubhouse Stamp Set and Country Club Designer Series Paper. Both are retiring June 2.

My card base is Night of Navy with a mat of Garden Green and a panel of patterned paper from the Country Club Designer Series Paper.

I cut a square of Garden Green with the Layering Squares Dies. The white art piece is stamped in Night of Navy using one of the stamps from the Clubhouse set. I cut it out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered it to the green square. I mounted that onto the front with Dimensionals. Easy peasy, quick and done!

The inside was just as easy...a mat of Garden Green, two stamps from the Clubhouse set, Night of Navy ink and Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the golf ball/tee/grass. I colored the grass and tee with the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2 and used my Blender Pen to blend it.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thank you for joining the hop. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Eva Dobilas. Clicking on the names below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.

Stampin' Up! Clubhouse and Someone Special Father's Day Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a color challenge. I can't wait to see what the other team members created. Hop along with us at the bottom of my post.

I used the Clubhouse Stamp Set for the images and some of the inside sentiments. It is on page 48 of our January - June 2020 Mini Catalog. It's a great set if you have golfers in your life. The designer series paper has women golfers on it as well as men. I also used the Special Someone Stamp Set, on page 36 of the same catalog, for the sentiments. I used both Light and Dark Blends to color my  art panel. Here is what I created...

and here is our color challenge...

Stampin' Up! Truly Tailored and True Gentlemen for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Image may contain: text

Wow, this is so exciting...blogging with two of the best leaders...Amy Koenders and Sandi MacIver and all our wonderful crafting team members. You are in for a BIG treat, peeps, once a month with two teams combined for the hop. This month we have our choice: we can strictly follow the color challenge, the sketch OR both! Here's my card for which I used both!

Here are the challenges:
Image may contain: text

My card base is Tranquil Tide, with a mat of Night of Navy and DSP from the True Gentlemen package. When I made this card, the DSP was retiring but still available. It has since sold out. (If you are interested in purchasing, I can try to find a demonstrator who has an extra package for sale, just let me know.)

The ovals are die cut from the Layering Ovals  Framelits. I adhered them to each other with Tombow glue and adhered the Navy to the card base with dimensionals.

The sentiment and bow tie are from Guy Greetings and Truly Tailored, respectively, stamped in Night of Navy and Tranquil Tide on the Crumb Cake oval. These two stamp sets are retiring as of May 31 and could become unavailable prior to that. The card front was so easy to do, it only took minutes.

For the inside, I used a piece of the now gone DSP, a mat of Night of Navy and a mat of Crumb Cake. I rounded off all the corners using the new Detailed with Love Punch (available June 1...if you become a demonstrator before then, you can have it now!)

I sponged the Crumb Cake piece with Crumb Cake ink. I also put my own dots around the edges using my Night of Navy Stamp 'n Write Marker. I was trying to get a leathery, awl-punched look. The marker is available at the moment in the Regals collection but is not sold alone. I left the inside blank as I will be sending it to Send A Smile 4 Kids and they request that.  I am also entering their challenge again, which ends tomorrow!

The products that are available are listed below (with the exception of DSP), along with measurements.

Clicking on the "Next" button will take you Sandi MacIver on our "sister" team! If you prefer, you can click on any name below to go directly to that blog.
