Stampin' Up! Quilt Book Binding Card

Hello, my stamping friends. If you follow me, you know I love quilt cards. I'm not sure what this pattern is called but I do have the photo of the design from which I took it. I don't even know who posted it or where. If you know, let me know in a comment. I took her diagram and put it on my glass mat. However, I didn't do "on point" and wish I had because my first triangle is a little "off point"...lol. It's for a quilter and she'll have a laugh at my quilting attempt! Here we go...

I used scraps from the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper that I had on my table for other cards this month. I vowed not to open the new pack until I had used all the scraps! I've pretty much stuck with that vow but I don't know how much longer I can hold out...I know you know the feeling about scraps! There are 2 squares that measure 1-1/2" and 2 that measure 1-1/16.

The big sentiment is a die that I have on my magnetic board so I don't know the company from which it came as I threw away the packaging years ago. I cut it out 3 times and glued it together to raise it. I used Highland Heather card stock for that. The color of my base is Lost Lagoon, the mats are Shaded Spruce and the embossed background is Basic Beige. The mat is embossed with the 3D Eyelet Embossing Folder. I think that's such a pretty EF for quilting background.

I'm participating in the challenge 837 at Allsorts in hopes that I win the prize because my daughter loves giraffes. Isn't it cute? That's rhetorical by the way...lol.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll visit the Allsorts Challenge
