Good morning my stamping friends. I needed four sympathy cards this week and two baby cards. I finished one sympathy card yesterday and decided to post it today. My inspiration came from The Pampered Stamper (Jackie vanderSar-Boot).
Here's my card...
I think the inside could be used as the outside minus the second sentiment!
- Basic White Cardstock for Card Base: 7" x 8 1/4", scored at 3 1/2"
- Basic White Cardstock for Panel: 3 1/4" x 8", scored at 3/4", 7/8", 1 1/4", 2", 2 3/8", 2 1/2"; sponged with Soft Sky Ink (retired)
- Basic White Cardstock 3" x 5" for Perennial Postage Squares: die cut 3 using the largest square; embossed with Sunflower 3D embossing folder; sponged with Crushed Curry; Pecan Pie and Old Olive Inks
- Crushed Curry Cardstock scrap: punched with Double Oval Punch (retired); stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink using Unbounded Love Stamp Set
- Painted Autumn DSP (retired) for inside: 3 1/4" x 8"
- Soft Sky Cardstock (retired): 4" x 5" inside sentiment die cut with Layering Ovals Framelits (retired) stamped with Early Espresso Ink using The Right Words Stamp Set
- Embellishment from Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed my card. It was fun to create even though it was for a difficult occasion.
Pretty card Karen! Love that embossing folder so much! :)
ReplyDeleteI saw Jackie's card and fell in love with it...as did I yours! What a great technique, even though you needed sympathy cards.
