Stampin' Up! Adventurous Sky Birthday Fun Fold for Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

Hello my stamping friends! Welcome to our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew hop. Our theme for this month is "for the boys/men" and we can interpret that any way we want and use any product we wish. Here is what I created for it using the Adventurous Sky Stamp Set (retired), the Adventurous Sky Dies (Last Chance List) and the Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive)...at least I think I've got the categories correct!

Let's look at the bigger picture, shall we?

My card base is the new Cloud Cover card stock which measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".

I adhered a piece of the new Secret Sea card stock to "Z" part of the card. It measures 4 1/4" x  5 1/2" .Then I adhered a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Take to the Sky DSP. To that I adhered another piece of Secret Sea which measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" and another DSP piece that measures 3" x 4".

Using a retired Word Bubbles die, I cut the card stock for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment from Adventurous Sky in Versa Mark and heat set it with silver embossing powder. I adhered it with a Dimensional.

The plane is cut with dies from the Adventurous Sky Dies. The body is Smoky Slate card stock and the wing portion is Brushed Silver Foil. The plane is adhered with Dimensionals.

For the inside...

I cut a piece of Basic White card stock and made masks for the clouds once I had stamped them in Soft Sky (retired) and Smoky Slate (2nd and 3rd generation). I sponged the top portion of the panel with Pool Party Ink.

I stamped the plane and sentiments in Misty Moonlight Ink as I didn't buy the new In Color inks. The Happy Birthday is cut with a die from the above-mentioned set.
