Today's card is a card I made three weeks ago when. I watched a video by Alyson Mayo. She called it a "Glitter Christmas Tree Card". You've heard me mention her before many times on my blog and I hope you've paid her a visit! You can find her video and instructions on FB by searching for Create with Alyson - Membership and requesting to join the group.
Three weeks ago I was in severe pain and this was an easy card to make. I'm not sure of what I used to create it! However, I really do like a challenge so I'll put my thinking cap on. One of my 2024 goals was to put everything away after I used it...and I did just that! My goal for 2025 is to write down what I use on each card prior to putting the supplies away :-) Wish me luck! Without further ado...
Okay, so I went through my Evernote inventory and what a blessing that was! The card base and mat are from the retired Magnolia Lane Memories & More Cards and Envelopes. I took one card, cut around the frame and die cut the center with a tree from the retired In the Woods Dies.
To the base of a second M & M card (mentioned above), I adhered strips of Berry Burst, Old Olive & White Glimmer Specialty Paper. I adhered the cut out tree over the strips with foam adhesive, added an Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequin for the "star", and using Berry Burst ink, stamped the sentiment from the Shepherd's Care stamp set. Easy peasy, like I said!
Thank you so much for visiting today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our weekly Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop.
