Stampin' Up! Gathered Wheat Thanksgiving Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who live in the USA and welcome all to our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. Here is what I created for our sketch challenge today...

My card base is Crumb Cake cardstock. I heat embossed the little wheat seed with gold embossing powder on the edges and used the splatter stamp with Early Espresso ink.

My Soft Suede mat is embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I wrapped a piece of Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon around it and adhered the mat to the front of the card with liquid adhesive.

Next I tried stamping the large piece of wheat on the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper in Early Espresso ink but that didn't work out so great. However, I still cut it out with the Wheat Dies, along with medium size wheat pieces. I adhered them all to the mat with liquid glue.

The sentiment from the Gathered Wheat Stamp Set is stamped in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Crumb Cake that I punched out with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. I adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside...

I stamped the wheat, second generation with Crumb Cake ink and the sentiment with Early Espresso. I had one die cut left over so I adhered that to the panel with liquid glue.

I'm playing at TTTC188 with Featured Designer Felicita - Tic Tac Toe #188. I went from the upper left corner to the bottom right and across the top..
