Here is what I created for our Christmas theme challenge for today.
and it will be fantastic cards/projects by my team mates listed below. I hope you'll hop with us because it's a free treat!
My ornaments were inspired by Karen Titus and Dawn Griffith. The three stars are Karen's design and the looped one is Dawn's design. Rather than explaining how I did it, just click on their names for a video tutorial!
For the middle star and loop ornaments, I used the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and Simply Elegant Trim Gold & Silver. (I poked a hole through the top of the star and fed a length of trim through it.) For the other two stars I used the Painted Christmas DSP and the same trim.
The "Joy" from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set is stamped in Soft Succulent Ink on Snowy White Velvet Sheet, sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat set. I punched it out with the Double Oval Punch. There is one on the front of the ornament and one on the back.
Here are a couple of pics to show the inside and outside paper for the loop ornament and the backs of the stars. (The "Noel" one was my prototype and uses a retired sentiment from Tidings & Trimmings.)
