TGIF, peeps! Have you made any plans yet for the weekend? I haven't yet but I've got today and Monday mapped out. Today I have family here for dinner and Monday I'll be revisiting the community that has caught my eye. It's power supply comes totally from solar panels. If you're interested, here's a link. But if you just want to see my card, here you go!!
First off, I am so in love with the Daffodil Afternoon DSP, which is free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration. The sentiment on the front is from the Best Year Stamp Set. My design is inspired by Kristina Rees. She called the fun fold an "Accordion Z Fold. Measurements are listed below.
Here's the "how to"...
Cut Basic Black Cardstock to 4¼” x 5 ½”Cut Designer Series Paper to 11” x 5 ¼”. Score on long side at 1 ¾”, 3 ½”, 5 ¼” and 7”. Carefully fold score lines and attach Designer Series Paper to card base.
Cut Basic Black Cardstock to 7” x 3 ½” and score at 3 ½” on long side. Add liquid glue to left inside and right inside and adhere to Designer Series Paper under back accordion and front accordion, centering it on your card front when closed.
Cut Designer Series Paper to 3 ¼” x 3 ¼” and adhere to Basic Black front.
Cut Basic White “label” and Basic Black mat with dies from Stitched So Sweetly.
Attach the mat to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Punch out boughs from Pear Pizzazz scrap with Sprig Punch and layer on label with Mini Glue Dot.
Tie a bow of Linen Thread and attach to boughs with Mini Glue Dot.
Stamp on remaining Basic White squares and adhere to card as shown in picture. Sentiments are from the Best Year Stamp Set and the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set. The daffodils are from the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set and I used Blends to color the solid images.
Very pretty! The colors in these papers are so striking! They really make for a gorgeous card! Good luck on looking at that new commumnity! I am intrigued!

Thank you so much, Debbie.
DeleteInteresting about the solar power supply. Unfortunately, the Pacific North West rains way too much for that option in our community.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card. Those pp are just lovely and your choices compliment each other beautifully on this fun fold card.
