Sweet Ice Cream Birthday Card

Where did Saturday come from? Well, wherever and however, I hope you are having a good one.

I just had to make a card today for the Just Add Ink Challenge. Actually, I had made it for their sketch challenge last week but totally forgot to post it! So, without further ado, let's get those tongues "l"icking "l"ots of  "l"uscious "l"ime ice cream cones, etc.!!

I started with a card base of Soft Suede Cardstock and cut a piece of Ice Cream Corner DSP 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" to cover the front. Then I used a die from Rectangle Stitched Dies to cut 8 ice creams. I used the Playful Alphabet Dies to cut the "8" out from the same DSP package. I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets for that. I adhered all the ice creams with Stampin' Dimensionals and went on to the inside of the card.

I used sentiments stamps from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set using Soft Suede Ink and my Stampin' Write Markers to color the Happy Birthday.

This card will be going to one of the twins in SC. His favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip so I stamped that on the front of his envelope. His sister loves chocolate so I have made another card for her, which I will show you on Monday.

I'm also entering my card in Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper March 2021 Challenge. Because I have a rainbow of colors in my card, I also joining the challenge at Dragonfly Journeys (hi Jeannie!)

Thank you for stopping by and go treat yourself to an ice cream today!
