Stampin' Up! Forever Blossoms Wedding/Anniversary Card for Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another monthly Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop! If this is your first time for our hop, you're in for a treat! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “love” theme. We can interpret that any way we want and I have chosen to think wedding or anniversary. I’m featuring the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set and Stitched Be Mine Dies for my project. My design inspiration came from Jill Chapman and my technique by Linda Heller.

My card base is Basic White with a mat of Purple Posy. I took a piece of Basic White cardstock and sponged it with Frost White Shimmer Paint and let it dry thorougly overnight. I ran it through my embossing machine the next day using the Old World Paper 3D EF. SU also has Pearlescent Specialty Paper you could use but I wanted to give this technique a try.

I stamped the striped heart in Highland Heather and cut it out with one of the Stitched Be Mine Dies. The "Love" Purple Posy heart is cut out with a die from Arrange a Wreath Dies. The white heart is embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF and is cut out with a die from the Stitched Be Mine, along with the Purple Posy heart frame. I'm entering my card in Try Stampin' On Tuesday: Challenge #489 Use Dies.

The "Always and Forever" heart (Forever Blossoms Stamp Set) is punched with one of the Heart Punch Pack punches. The three little flowers are die cut from the Arrange a Wreath Dies. I added three Basic Pearl Jewels to the centers. I adhered everything to the card front with liquid glue and Dimensionals.

For the inside, I kept it simple...

a sentiment from Forever Blossoms and the image from Meant to Be. The matting is the same as the front...Purple Posy and Basic White. I really am enamored with this card and I hope you are too!
