Stampin' Up! Campology, A Good Man, Sailing Home and More Masculine Retirement Card

Welcome to Masculine Monday! Did you guess correctly from yesterday?

I was commissioned by The Celtic Ray to create a retirement card for a gentleman who was leaving his position of working on airplane engines. Because he wants to replace that career with fishing and boating, I decided to make a Retiform technique card to prepare the way.

Here is what I used:

Stamp Sets, Measurements and Colors:

Card Base: Bermuda Bay 4 ¼” x 11”, scored and folded at 5 ½”

Card Front Whisper White Mat 4" x 5 1/4": All images stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, retiform panels Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron, Gray Granite, Balmy Blue, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana

Stamp Sets:

·       Sailing Home – Sentiment, anchor, small sailboat and birds

·       Best Catch (retired) – Big fish and hat

·       By the Dock – Fish in water

·       Campology – Binoculars

·       High Tide  - waves

Subtle 3D Embossing Folder

Post it Notes for masking off image panels

Card Inner:

Timeless Tropical – Rest and Relax You Deserve It

A Good Man – Image

Many Mates – Congrats, on your retirement, So happy for you! (and also slightly jealous)

Blends and Inks:

Ivory and Light Crumb Cake Blends

Coastal Cabana ink with Blender Pen

I'm entering my card in the Crafting Happiness Challenge #78 - A is for Animals., Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge 2102 Anything Goes and Stamping Sensations January Challenge - Favourite Stamps. A Good Man is my favorite masculine stamp set that is current and Many Mates has a number of great sentiments. Truthfully, all the stamps I used are my favorites! They are perfect for the Retiform technique, don't you think?

Thank you for stopping by today and, as usual, I appreciate any comments you leave.  If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them.
