My card today is created with the Many Mates Stamp Set and Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set, along with the Winter Woods Stamp Set. I thought the new Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder (available to customers 8/4/20) would be perfect for France Martin's Toilet Paper technique. What do you think?
This technique was so much fun. Because it's Mixed Media, I'm entering it in the Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge #62 and the Just Add Ink Mixed Media Challenge #515. I have not used Patterned Paper so I'm also entering it in the Dragonfly Dreams Challenge. I wish I could have found a current Monochromatic Challenge!
Let me tell you how I made it...
- Just Jade card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4".
- Pretty Peacock mat 5 1/8" x 3 7/8", adhere to card base.
- 8 panel strip of Charmin folded to become 4 layers of 2 panels, spritz with water, run through embossing machine. I used the Evergreen Forest 3D folder (available 8/4/20). Then you let it dry.
- Put Tear and Tape on a mat of Whisper White card stock 5" x 3 3/4".
- Adhere toilet paper to the Whisper White mat and trim off excess.
- Sponge the trees with Pretty Peacock and Pool Party inks.
- Wrap a 6" piece of Just Jade Gingham Ribbon around the art panel.
- Adhere art panel to the card front.
- Cut a Pretty Peacock label from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.
- Stamp sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays on Whisper White and cut with the smallest Stitched Nested Labels die. Glue to Pretty Peacock label.
- Attach Pretty Peacock label with Mini Dimensionals on the ribbon.
The inside is nice and simple...
- Stamp sentiment from Many Mates in Pretty Peacock.
- Stamp tree from Winter Woods in Pretty Peacock, stamping off twice.
Thank you for visiting today and I hope you are having a great weekend.
